Hi, I am so glad you have made it here. Let me introduce myself. My name is Anna Wasag. I started my own personal fitness journey as a teen out of high school. Growing up I was surrounded by sports and engaged in soccer, fencing, and even horseback riding which had to end fast since my allergies were unbearable. Needless to say, I had an unfair advantage stepping into the gym with a sports background. I say this because most people don’t really pursue physical activity until adulthood making it a bit more challenging. Although I was involved in sports I had a hard time feeling good in my own skin. On the outside, it may have seemed like I was in great shape but my internal critic was set otherwise. I would hide my midsection at the beach, wear sweaters everywhere and feel very self-conscious about my body.
Joining a gym and getting into bodybuilding/strength training has really changed my mindset. As I began to pursue a new shape I discovered the muscle of discipline, resilience, patience, and perseverance. I was able to accomplish my goal look as well as fully embrace my imperfections.
The body is always adapting and changing to our thought patterns and physical behaviors. Soon after achieving my goals, I knew I had to find a way to help others do the same. I got certified as a personal trainer and worked with hundreds of clients over the last 4 years in person and then transitioned everything online. I have worked with various age groups and athletic backgrounds in the past. But my main focus has always been on busy working professionals who look for an effective fast-paced workout that can target both fat loss and strength gain. They are willing to drop all excuses at the door and get after it knowing that the same attitude they bring into the weight room will translate into their work performance. The feeling of endorphins after a hard workout will help you feel like you can truly face any challenge in life outside of the gym.
